Ol’ Judge Roy Bean’s place was always a favorite place of my Dad’s … of course when he went there for the first time in the early 1950’s it wasn’t anything like it is today.
The State of Texas has stepped in and made everything around there real fancy …
Still a place I like to visit on occasion.
They say this place is 2 miles from water and 2 feet from HELL !

“IT’S A CADILLAC” !!!
This was a 1974 Cadillac and my mode of transportation in 1983!
The driver side door was candy apple red so I always carried a spray can full of “white krylon” paint …
Everytime I went through the car wash the paint came off!
